Manly P. Hall Is Noted Philosophical Historian Citing Astrology In "The Crash Of 1929" PBS Special

The Crash Of 1929

Manly P. Hall, Founder Philosophical Research Society verifies the roaring twenties had astrology enticing many to play Wall Street prior to the crash.

You can see the whole program here. Manly P Hall is in Chapter 3 "Wall Street Welcomes Main Street". He's in the middle of the chapter.

The whole program is great but has an eery mirror image to today.

Needless to say when we were watching it, "it freaked us out man" (insert Cheech And Chong linguistic here).

"February 1929:

Astrologer Evangeline Adams, who counts Charlie Chaplin, Mary Pickford, and J. P. Morgan among her clients, predicts the market will rise in the coming months."
