The reason was an international agreement to allow for official atomic clocks to adjust to the world’s irregular but gradually slowing rotation. So a leap second was inserted between 2008 and 2009.
It may have appeared to outsiders that time occasionally stood still for those who have been the prime movers behind the rebuilding of Europe into an imperial force yet again, following World War ii. Indeed, it has taken 63 years since the fascist elites went underground for them to pursue their goal of reviving the Holy Roman Empire.
Yet, time has certainly not stood still for those of the World War ii generation who went underground in 1944 to recast their plans for world dominion following the failed Nazi/fascist attempt, nor for the next generation to whom they handed on the baton, to keep the imperial Germanic/Roman dream alive.
The collapse of the last bastion of freedom in the world, the Anglo-Saxon nations—led by the rapid decline of the British Empire over 50 years ago and now accelerated by the sudden collapse of the United States—has opened a vast geopolitical vacuum to be filled. 2009 may well be the year when the European Union suddenly leaps into view to be seen by all as that which it was always destined to become: the final resurrection of the Holy Roman Empire!

NEW YORK — It's the latest story that touched, and betrayed, the world.
"Herman Rosenblat and his wife are the most gentle, loving, beautiful people," literary agent Andrea Hurst said Sunday, anguishing over why she, and so many others, were taken by Rosenblat's story of love born on opposite sides of a barbed-wire fence at a Nazi concentration camp in Germany.
"I question why I never questioned it. I believed it; it was an incredible, hope-filled story."
On Saturday, Berkley Books canceled Rosenblat's memoir, "Angel at the Fence." Rosenblat acknowledged that he and his wife did not meet, as they had said for years, at a sub-camp of Buchenwald, where she allegedly sneaked him apples and bread. The book was supposed to come out in February.
"I wanted to bring happiness to people," said Rosenblat, who now lives in the Miami area. "I brought hope to a lot of people. My motivation was to make good in this world."
Rosenblat's believers included not only his agent and his publisher, but TV talk show host Oprah Winfrey, film producers, journalists, family members and strangers who ignored, or did not know about, the warnings from scholars that his story did not make sense.
Other Holocaust memoirists have devised greater fantasies. Misha Defonseca, author of "Misha: A Memoire of the Holocaust Years," pretended she was a Jewish girl who lived with wolves during the war, when she was actually a non-Jew who lived, without wolves, in Belgium.
Historical records prove Rosenblat was indeed at Buchenwald and other camps.
"How sad that he felt he had to embellish a life of surviving the Holocaust and of being married for half a century," said Holocaust scholar Michael Berenbaum.
The damage is broad. Publishing, the most trusting of industries, has again been burned by a memoir that fact-checking might have prevented. Berkley is an imprint of Penguin Group (USA), which in March pulled Margaret B. Jones' "Love and Consequences" after the author acknowledged she had invented her story of gang life in Los Angeles. Winfrey fell, as she did with James Frey, for a narrative of suffering and redemption better suited for television than for history.
The damage is deep. Scholars and other skeptics as well as fellow survivors fear that Rosenblat's fabrications will only encourage doubts about the Holocaust.
"I am very worried because many of us speak to thousands of students each year," says Sidney Finkel, a longtime friend of Rosenblat's and a fellow survivor. "We go before audiences. We tell them a story and now some people will question what I experienced."
"This was not Holocaust education but miseducation," Ken Waltzer, director of Jewish Studies at Michigan State University, said in a statement.
"Holocaust experience is not heartwarming, it is heart rending. All this shows something about the broad unwillingness in our culture to confront the difficult knowledge of the Holocaust," Waltzer said. "All the more important then to have real memoirs that tell of real experience in the camps."
Among the fooled, at least the partially fooled, was Berenbaum, former director of the United States Holocaust Research Institute at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington. Berenbaum had been asked to read the manuscript by film producer Harris Salomon, who still plans an adaptation of the book.
Berenbaum's tentative support — "Crazier things have happened," he told The Associated Press last fall — was cited by the publisher as it initially defended the book. Berenbaum now says he saw factual errors, including Rosenblat's description of Theresienstadt, the camp from which he was eventually liberated, but did not think of challenging the love story.
"There's a limit to what I can verify, because I was not there," he says. "I can verify the general historical narrative, but in my research I rely upon the survivors to present the specifics of their existence with integrity. When they don't, they destroy so much and they ruin so much, and that's terrible."
"I was burned," he added. "And I have to read books more skeptically because I was burned."

'My Dream Is to Create a United Religious Nations'
Yona Metzger, the Ashkenazi Chief Rabbi of Israel, talks to SPIEGEL ONLINE about the Abraham as the father of all three monotheistic religions -- Islam, Christianity and Judaism -- and explains how that connection could be a starting point for a dialogue of peace between them.
SPIEGEL ONLINE: Chief Rabbi, Jews refer to Abraham as "Our Father Abraham." How difficult is it for you to accept the fact that Christians and Muslims also call Abraham their father?
Metzger: This is not difficult at all. It fits very well with the Jewish religion. A close look at the word "Abraham" reveals that it is constructed from the words "father of many nations." So, if Muslims associate themselves with Abraham's son Ismael, or Christians associate themselves with Abraham's grandson Esau, or we associate ourselves with his other grandson Jacob, then three great monotheistic religions were born from him.
SPIEGEL ONLINE: What is Abraham's function in the Bible?
Metzger: The great Jewish philosopher Maimonides explained this very impressively. God created various objects in heaven. The sun, for example, or the moon and the stars -- they are all high above us. This was understood to mean that God wanted us to respect them more than the things which were created on Earth. Gradually things went wrong. Instead of praying directly to God, the people turned the objects into targets of their prayers.
SPIEGEL ONLINE: They worshipped idols.
Metzger: When Abraham came, he saw the sun rising, setting and the world turning and he thought, who is causing all these to move? There has to be someone above all these. So he essentially was saying: "You have stopped halfway. There is someone above these objects you worship! So why go to the ministers? Let's go directly to the king." And so he commenced a journey which touched many people. Together with his wife Sarah, he traveled from place to place and developed the philosophy of belief in one God. Slowly but surely many people gathered around him and today most of the population of the world is monotheistic: Christianity, Islam, Judaism ...
SPIEGEL ONLINE: ... 3.5 billion people ...
Metzger: Perhaps even more. I met with leaders of the Hindu religion, who I was certain were idol worshippers, but their leaders said they also believe in God -- it's just that they believe He has a way through the idols. And some Buddhists say that Buddha is only a worldview, and not a religious belief. We see that most of the world really follows the path of Abraham.
SPIEGEL ONLINE: But one gets the sense that the Jews think that they are the original and Christians and Muslims are only "copies."
Metzger: Well, from the historical perspective it was so. Jesus was a Jew. Subsequently Christianity came into the world and then Islam. These were the steps, historically -- not the other way round. When Jesus was in Jerusalem, he was not familiar with a church or a mass -- that is certain. He knew only one thing: the Holy Temple. After his time, the rest was developed by his disciples.
SPIEGEL ONLINE: But Christians stress that Abraham believed in God before he became circumsized and actually became Jewish.
Metzger: Abraham had no rabbi, no teacher. He was taught the law by his kishkes as we say in Jiddish, "from his own two kidneys." That is to say, he learned by himself and through himself. It is interesting to note that the Torah calls Abraham an Ivri, "a Hebraic."
SPIEGEL ONLINE: Is it important for you whether Abraham was a real historic person? Historians and archeologists have not found any clear proof that Abraham has ever lived.
Metzger: I believe that the Bible represents fully the true history of the world. If historians or archeologists find proofs, we are delighted, but we don't need them.
SPIEGEL ONLINE: When you look at the historical perspective, much blood was spilled in the name of religion. So how can a dialogue be conducted between religions?
Metzger: Look, Abraham specifically is very helpful regarding dialogue -- and I will give you an example. Once I had a meeting with an Iranian leader. He was one of the heads of the Ayatollahs. Initially he did not want to shake my hand, but eventually I turned to him and asked him: "Do you believe that your forefather was Abraham?"
SPIEGEL ONLINE: Ibrahim, as the Muslims call him in Arabic.
Metzger: Yes. Ibrahim. And he answered, "Yes." I said to him that I also believe that my father was Abraham. So I asked him, "Do you believe that our forefather would be pleased today -- up in heaven -- seeing that one son kills himself in order to kill his other son? Which father would delight in such a thing?" He did not have an answer.
SPIEGEL ONLINE: So Abraham could serve as a vehicle for dialogue?
Metzger: Yes. Even if you have a brother who you believe is not a good person and you think that the world needs to be Muslim -- do not kill! If you want, speak, put it on the table and be cultured. Like every father Abraham would expect that his children sit down at the table instead of killing each other.
SPIEGEL ONLINE: Can you give another example of dialogue?
Metzger: During a recess, in a conference which took place in Europe, one of the heads of the Muslim Courts in Jordan invited me to a cup of coffee in the lobby of the hotel. We sat for about half an hour. I began telling him about some of my problems; I told him about my family, my children, some issues with rabbis and the chief rabbis that are under me and the responsibilities I have. He told me about his problems. At the end he stood up, shook my hand and told me: "Now, after having told me all of your stories, and after I have told you all of my stories, I cannot hate you."
SPIEGEL ONLINE: Do you believe that religious people are better equipped to bring peace to the world?
Metzger: Definitely. My dream is to create a United Religious Nations -- just as there is the United Nations in New York. The diplomats did not succeed in bringing peace to the world. They need help. And this can come through religious language. Because a Muslim does not respect a person who is secular; he will only have respect if you are religious. This Religious United Nations would also include Hindus and Buddists. We religious people speak the same language.

Old City Of Jerusalem To Become City State Like Vatican City: The Special Regime in Jerusalem Will Soon Be Unveiled

The July 2008 Newsletter at the Jerusalem Old City Initiative website, which was just recently released in NOVEMBER, has indicated that the Jerusalem Old City Initiative, which was a birthing tangent along side of Bill Clintons' The Holy Sites Initiatives, are still ongoing and are coming to its end of final reports.

As I pondered as to why NO PRESS has reported The University Of Windsor's, Canada JOCI movements (insert Compartmentalization divide and conquer game plan here) I decided to check back and see if I "missed" anything. Well apparently another report dated 7-29-07 gave some light as to why this initiative is not dead in the waters but rather alive and kicking.
A Plan For Governance In A Special Regime In Jerusalem
At Clause 3.1 I found this snippet:
"The creation of a separate international entity (along the lines of a Monaco type
or even Vatican type state) would offer distinct advantages, not least in terms of
the application and enforcement of a legal system that differs from the present
one, and also for dispute resolution..."
The Jerusalem Special Regime Area will not be limited to the Old City of Jerusalem. That's right, Bill Clinton' s Holy Sites initiatives and other like minded folks like Rabbi David Rosen will be there also. See the Rabbi's thoughts on this matter.
So the questions arise:
Although a City State governing body will exist, who will have the ultimate governing powers?
What country entity is going to have the most influence?
Which para military corp will enforce its laws to its residents?
Will a new religious belief system comprise the New Jerusalem Old City State?
Will news of "Jerusalem City" finally nail the paradoxical Middle East Peace?
And finally, WHO will ultimately get credit for this Really Keen Idea?
The last of the commissioned reports are due very soon (we'll probably see them in February09'):

Ultra-Orthodox Party Is Kingmaker In Israeli Election

JERUSALEM — An ultra-Orthodox Jewish party run by an octogenarian rabbi who has said Hurricane Katrina was divine punishment emerged Thursday as the kingmaker in forming the next Israeli government.
Having won a fight to be leader of the ruling Kadima Party, Tzipi Livni now will likely need Shas as a partner to become prime minister. But Shas opposes any compromise on Jerusalem, and including it in a coalition could tie her hands in peace talks with the Palestinians.

NATO and Israel: "This is not a shotgun marriage" says Livni

The Atlantic Forum of Israel helped organize a visit early last week, Sunday October 21, 2007, with newly appointed NATO Deputy Secretary-General Claudio Bisogniero. Bisogniero and Livni addressed the second annual “NATO Israel Symposium” at the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya on Monday night. The growing partnership between a newly transformed NATO in the Middle East is bridging a stronger partnership between Israel and its western military allies. Marking the first anniversary of Israel's Individual Cooperation Program with NATO, although not becoming a full member, Livni say’s, “This is not a shotgun marriage”.
I quite agree with Livni. I’m sure this is not. Still considered officially “newlyweds” in regards to their official public NATO nuptials, the honeymoon is just beginning. I guess its time for the groom NATO to change its old bachelor ways and step in line with the misses. A happy wife, is a happy house. I wonder how many more old friends the groom is going to have to part with. Either way the transformation of NATO continues, so lets keep sifting through the news.

Sadly, it has come down to this, and Bishop Williamson knows it but so many (in fear) have decided to turn their backs on him. The problem is they should know better. The new church of Vatican II has been playing patty cake with the enemies of Christ for over 40 years now. Various apparitions like Our Lady of Akita have warned this would happen:

I attended a morning mass once where the priest read from the Diary of Anne Frank instead of reading the Gospel. I am not kidding. One young lady became agitated--the rest of us were stunned in silence and confusion--and cried out: "Father! Please! For love of God!" She was a lone, stricken voice. I always remember her.
I like this Bishop Williamson also.
Is the Pope Catholic? is no longer a rhetorical question.

After reading through the visceral and hostile comments in passionate defence of Holocaustianity, you may all be astonished to realize that the Blog owner: a Ms. Ruth Gledhill, is supposed to be the 'Religious Correspondent' for no less than The Times (of London). One look at her photograph might help explain the problem.
The commenter ... Dr. Irene Lancaster ... is apparently a Fellow of the Royal Society (FRS) in the U.K. She is a Jewess and makes regular appearances in blogs to excuse Israeli genocides and defend that Saturn worshipping belief system we mistakenly refer to as Judaism.

You may be playing into the hands of the Zionists, Michael.
They are a self-hating people (witness their every action on a global scale) and would like nothing better than to have more "outside" hatred heaped upon them thereby fulfilling their desire to be thought of as victims.
If enough people hate the Zionists it is likely physical action will be used to demonstrate the world's displeasure with them. If overt physical action is carried out in the United States, for example, there's a good chance martial law would be declared and nothing would please the Zionists more; anything that would weaken the US pleases them to no end.
It is time to suck in our guts and show restraint at this point in time; the court of world opinion has been effective, most recently with Interpol showing interest in investigating and issuing warrants (for war crimes) against top officials in the Zionist government of Israel. It is ironic that Iran is the one initiating the cry for war-crime trials.
Frivolous utterances at this time can be very counter-productive.

Joe, above, makes a salient point. The court of secular opinion has judged zionism quite unfavorably. Just look at the success of the book, "The Israel Lobby," as well as former President Jimmy Carter's recent book in which he criticizes the state of israel and its treatment of the Palestinians. Pope Benedict XVI knows how international opinion (whether public or private) is allied against the judaics. The Pope also possesses the acumen to know that any critical remarks he makes of israel and zionism will undoubtedly be taken in some quarters (even and especially among non-Catholics) as some sort of license or permission to do them harm. Conseqeuntly, the Pope cannot publicly embrace the revisionist position. However, I'm certain the Pope was well aware of Bishop Williamson's views. Lifting the excommunications was certainly an attempt at bringing the infection of judaic influence to the surface and letting the pus run, so to speak. No one really has to condemn the judaics -- they do a splendid job of that on their own. Additonally, casting aspersion on the ethics and morality of the Vatican and the Pope only inspire Protestant sentiment and is vastly more harmful to Church unity than judaizing is. Indeed, few Catholics have jumped ship to convert to judaism over the past forty years, but constant criticism of the Church by "trads" in that same time has been sufficient to empty pews and inspire apostasy and schsim. I wonder how many "trads" would want to discover that it was their beloved hero Cardinal Ottaviani who authored the Vatican's hush-hush policy of moving pederast priests around like chess pieces. "Protest sentiment" is vastly more harmful than the spread of the religion of Orthodox Judaism, heirs of the Pharisees? On what do you base that notion? I can't find it in my Bible. While Catholics were publishing and promoting the Talmud in Renaissance Italy, Lutherans were documenting and exposing the evils of the Talmud. The inaugural scientific scholar in that regard was the eminent Prof. Johann Andreas Eisenmenger, author of "Entdecktes Judenthum," which was seized and banned by order of the Catholic Holy Roman Emperor. If Cardinal Ottaviani is guilty of what you claim that fact should be known. Why do you drag Archbishop Lefebvre into it? For guilt-by-association?
